Wednesday 3rd – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford with sub-groups getting there through Longniddry and either Samuelston or Haddington, and getting back either through Humbie or Pencaitland (38/40 miles).
Sunday 7th – on a very cold day, the intermediate group rode via Aberlady and Kingston to Whitekirk Hill, back through Athelstaneford and Gladsmuir (46 miles). The inters-plus group did an icy loop by Crichton and Carrington to Rosewell, then to Bonnyrigg for coffee and back by the cycle path to Shawfair (41 miles). A combined fitness/F+ group went via Gifford and Pitcox to Tyninghame, then direct back by Athelstaneford (51 miles).
Wednesday 10th – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie via Fala, back by the Saltouns (36 miles).
Saturday 13th – gravel ride to Haddington via the Pencaitland railway path, Boggs Holdings and Butterdean wood, back by the Longniddry railway path.
Sunday 14th – the intermediate group did a figure-8 to Merryhatton (45 miles). The intermediate-plus ride went to Merryhatton via Haddington, back by North Berwick and Ballencrief (53 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went via Roslin, Carlops and West Linton to Whitmuir, direct back (46 miles).
Wednesday 17th – mid-week intermediate ride to Haddington via the coast road and Aberlady, back by Tranent – bitterly cold! (32 miles).
Sunday 21st – the intermediate group took a direct route to East Linton, back by Hailes and Samuelston (43 miles). The intermediate-plus went south-west by Gladhouse reservoir, back by Penicuik (41 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went up the Granites, left to Heriot, then over Soutra and back by Humbie (50 miles).
Saturday 27th – gravel ride in East Lothian, taking in Carberry, the Saltouns and Gifford (41 miles).
Sunday 28th – a combined intermediate/inters+ group looped east: Humbie, Bolton and Prestonpans (37 miles). A combined fitness/fitness-plus ride went south-west via Rosebery and Mount Lothian to Whitmuir, back by the moor road (51 miles). Mild and windy.
February 2024
Sunday 4th – the fitness group did a fat loop west via Balerno, Uphall and Philpston to South Queensferry, home via the Dalmeny estate and Cramond (50 miles). Fitness-plus riders went down the coach road to Stow, over to Lauder and back by the A68 (56 miles). An intermediate/plus group went via Pathhead and Tynehead to Humbie, back by Pencaitland (38 miles).
Wednesday 7th – mid-week intermediate ride via Aberlady and Haddington to Gifford, direct back (44 miles).
Saturday 10th – gravel ride to South Queensferry, taking in the Cammo and Dalmeny estates (38 miles).
Sunday 11th – the fitness-plus and fitness groups both went to Whitmuir by slightly different routes (61 and 56 miles). The intermediate group rode through West Saltoun and Haddington to Merryhatton, back by Aberlady, shedding riders as it went (45 miles).
Wednesday 14th – mid-week intermediate ride to Penicuik by Loanhead, back through Bonnyrigg (31 miles).
Sunday 18th – The intermediate ride was to Tyninghame via Haddington and East Linton, direct back (48 miles). The intermediate-plus group rode up the Granites, over to Heriot and Soutra, and back by Humbie (49 miles). The fitness group went to Stow via Borthwick and the coach road, back the same way to Heriot then home through Crichton and Whitecraig (51 miles). The fitness-plus ride went to Peebles via Leadburn and the Lyne valley, back by Eddleston and Carrington (61 miles).
Wednesday 21st – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Pathhead, back by Tranent (37 miles).
Saturday 24th – gravel ride to Humbie taking in Saltoun Big Wood and the Oxenfoord Castle estate (36 miles).
Sunday 25th – the final 9 am start and all four groups did East Lothian loops. The intermediates went clockwise to Merryhatton (43 miles), while the other three groups went anti-clockwise: the intermediate-plus group stopping in North Berwick (51 miles); the fitness group at East Linton (57 miles) and fitness-plus at Tyninghame (59 miles).
Wednesday 28th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford (38 miles).
March 2024
Sunday 3rd – The fitness-plus ride went via Gladhouse and the Meldons to Peebles, along to Innerleithen and back over the Granites (69 miles). The fitness group went to Dunbar via Samuelston and Pitcox, back through Tyninghame and Bangly Brae (62 miles). The intermediate ride went via Borthwick to the Granites, then by Heriot and Fala to Humbie, direct back (48 miles). The intermediate-plus group went to Tyninghame via Gifford, back by Athelstaneford and the coast (53 miles).
Wednesday 6th – mid-week intermediate ride to Tyninghame, back through Haddington (44 miles).
Saturday 9th – gravel ride to Haddington taking in Carberry, the Winton estate and the Pencaitland railway path (35 miles).
Sunday 10th – lower turnout on a wet day. A combined intermediate/inters+ group went to Smeaton by a longer route (Kingston, Whitekirk), back by Morham and Samuelston (54 miles); a combined fitness/F+ group went via Gifford and Garvald to Dunbar, direct back (58 miles).
Wednesday 13th – mid-week intermediate ride via Carrington, Gorebridge, Mayfield and Edgehead.
Sunday 17th – The intermediate group rode along the coast to North Berwick, round to Tyninghame and back by Morham and Pencaitland (56 miles). The intermediate-plus went to Gifford and Haddington (36 miles). The fitness group rode via Temple and Edleston to Peebles, along to Innerleithen and back over the Granites (65 miles). The fitness-plus ride went via Gifford to Redstone Rig, down to Garvald, on to Tyninghame for coffee and back through North Berwick and the coast road (63 miles).
Wednesday 20th – mid-week intermediate ride via the Saltouns to Gifford, back by Samuelston (40 miles).
Saturday 23rd – gravel ride through the city to the Pentlands, back by the cycle path to Shawfair (35 miles).

Sunday 24th – The intermediate and inters-plus groups rode together to Temple; the intermediates then went via Middleton to Humbie and back through Bolton and Gladsmuir to the coast (53 miles), while intermediate-plus went over the Meldons to West Linton, back by the moor road and Shawfair cycle-path (58 miles). The fitness group did a very similar route to inters-plus, but with the coffee-stop at Whitmuir (61 miles). Fitness-plus went up the Granites, via Heriot to Soutra, then a loop round by Gifford and Haddington (64 miles).

Wednesday 27th – a low turnout in bad weather for a mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Prestonpans and Bangly Brae, direct back through Pencaitland (40 miles).
Sunday 31st – three groups did East Lothian loops in the sunshine: the intermediates went to Tyninghame via Gifford and Pitcox, back through East Fortune and Aberlady (55 miles); intermediate-plus went as far as Dunbar, back through Haddington (64 miles); a combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went to Tyninghame by a longer route, and back via North Berwick and Bangly Brae (65 miles).
April 2024
Wednesday 3rd – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford in the rain (38 miles).
Saturday 6th – gravel ride along the railway path to Pencaitland, cafe stop in Haddington and back by the railway path to Longniddry and the coast (33 miles).
Sunday 7th – a very windy day and a low turnout, so just two groups. The fitness/F+ group rode south via Leadburn and the Meldons to Dawyck, back by Dreva, Blyth Bridge and the moor road (69 miles). An inters/inters+ group went east to Dunbar via Samuelston and Stenton, back by Biel and Haddington (62 miles).
Wednesday 10th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford: along the coast to Longniddry, through Haddington, back by Tranent and Fa’side (39 miles).
Sunday 14th – the inters+ and fitness groups both went to Lauder via the coach road and Stow, but the fitness group went further, including the Granites on the way out and the Saltouns on the way back (57/70 miles). Fitness+ went round the Pentlands: direct out through Leadburn to Biggar, back by Carnwath and the Lang Whang (73 miles). The inters went to Tyninghame via Aberlady and North Berwick, direct back by Athelstaneford (50 miles).
Wednesday 17th – mid-week intermediate ride to Merryhatton via the coast road, back by Athelstaneford and Gladsmuir (39 miles).
Saturday 20th – gravel ride in East Lothian taking in Prestonpans, Pencaitland and Smeaton (31 miles).
Sunday 21st – the intermediate group went to Whitmuir via West Linton, then over to Waterheads and back by Gladhouse and Carrington (53 miles). The intermediate-plus group went over the Granites and via Heriot to Soutra, back via Humbie (53 miles). The fitness group rode to Dawyck via Auchendinny, West Linton and Biggar, back by the Meldons and Leadburn (77 miles). The fitness-plus group went up Redstone and Crystal rigs, down to Dunbar, then direct back via Athelstaneford (68 miles).
Wednesday 24th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Longniddry and Bangly Brae, home via Humbie (40 miles).
Sunday 28th – a combined intermediate/inters-plus ride rode via Gifford and East Linton to North Berwick, then back along the coast road (55 miles). A small fitness group rode round the Pentlands via the Lang Whang, Dunsyre, West Linton and Penicuik (66 miles). The fitness-plus group went over the Forth Bridge and via Dollar to Milnathort, back over the Cleish Hills (83 miles).
May 2024
Wednesday 1st – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Ormiston and the Saltouns, back through Tranent (38 miles).
Saturday 4th – gravel ride taking in the Dalmeny estate, the Forth bridge and a loop around N Queensferry, and Ratho (45 miles).
Sunday 5th – the intermediate group did the classic Granites and Soutra route (51 miles) while intermediate-plus did an anti-clockwise loop involving Penicuik, Gorebridge, Haddington and Prestonpans (58 miles). The fitness group rode via Gladsmuir to Garvald, up onto the moor, then via Ellemford and Longformacus to Gifford and direct back (65 miles). The fitness-plus ride went via W Linton and Biggar to Broughton, back over the Meldons (77 miles).

Wednesday 8th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Tranent and the Saltouns, back by Samuelston (41 miles).
Sunday 12th – on a very warm day, the intermediate group went to Gifford via Haddington and Luggate, back past Pishwanton wood and the Saltouns (54 miles). The intermediate-plus group did the classic Granites and Soutra route, but in reverse (49 miles). The fitness and F+ groups rode (mostly) together through Gifford, up Redstone Rig and on past Whiteadder. The fitness group turned off to go over Crystal Rig to Spott, and via the Biel estate to Tyninghame and direct home (66 miles); the F+ riders carried on to Preston and Granthouse, returning via Cockburnspath, West Barns and Athelstaneford (86 miles).

Wednesday 15th – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie (40 miles).
Saturday 18th – gravel loop in East Lothian, taking in Saltoun Big Wood, Humbie and Cousland (32 miles).

Sunday 19th – The intermediates went via Rosebery reservoir and Crichton to Humbie, back through Pencaitland (46 miles). The intermediate-plus group rode to Dunbar via Gifford, back by Tyninghame and Haddington (61 miles). The fitness group went to Innerleithen via West Linton and Rommanobridge, home by the Granites and Heriot (73 miles). The fitness-plus ride went via Humbie and Gordon to Earlston, back by Stow and Crichton (77 miles).

Wednesday 22nd – mid-week intermediate ride to Haddington via East Saltoun, back by the coast (32 miles).
Sunday 26th – A combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went to Dawyck over the Meldons in the rain, back in drier conditions by the Lyne valley and the moor road (69 miles). The intermediate group went over Soutra to Heriot and back over the Granites (50 miles).
Wednesday 29th – mid-week intermediate ride via Fa’side and Humbie to Gifford, direct back (45 miles).
June 2024
Sunday 2nd – The intermediate group rode along the coast to Gullane, inland to Tyninghame, then home by Morham and Samuelston (54 miles). A shorter taster ride went to Gifford and back (40 miles). The intermediate-plus group looped round to Whitmuir via Glasshouse and the Meldons, back over the moor road (64 miles). The fitness group went to Carnwath via Blyth Bridge and Elsrickle, back by Auchengray and the Lang Whang (76 miles). The fitness-plus ride went over the Border: out via the Rig and Duns, cafe stop near the Chain Bridge, back by Hutton, Cranshaws and Garvald (104 miles).

Wednesday 5th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Pencaitland, back by Haddington and the Pans (43 miles).
Sunday 9th – The intermediate group did a skinny loop west to Linlithgow via Dalmeny then Kirkliston (50 miles). The intermediate-plus group rode to Peebles via Gladhouse, back by Shiplaw, Leadburn and the Roslin path (60 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went over the Granites to Innerleithen, via Traquair to Kailzie for coffee, then back by Peebles and Gladhouse (70 miles).

Wednesday 12th – mid-week intermediate ride to Merryhatton – out along the coast, back inland (44 miles).

Friday 14th to Sunday 16th – the Portovelo weekender in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. Various people travelled down on Friday by train, then cycled the last bit; two rode from Tweedbank over two days, with an overnight at Edmundbyers YH. On Saturday, three groups did clockwise routes north-east onto the moors (some via Blakey Bank) to Castleton and Glaisdale. The intermediate group then rode via Rosedale Abbey to Kirkbymoorside and back to Helmsley (61 miles). The fitness group went on south to Hutton-le-Hole (some via Rosedale Chimney), then round and back to Helmsley (73 miles), while the fitness-plus group looped further south to Bulmer and Sheriff Hutton (102 miles). All routes were shortened from those originally planned because of torrential rain early afternoon. On the Sunday, a combined fitness/F+ group went south-east for a much flatter ride punctuated by coffee at Scampston and a thorough soaking on the way back (58 miles). The intermediate group did a slightly shorter version, stopping at Milton (52 miles).












Wednesday 19th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford (again!) via the Saltouns, back by Gladsmuir and Tranent (39 miles).
Sunday 23rd – The fitness-plus group rode over the Meldons, round Cademuir into Peebles then along to Kailzie for coffee and back over the Granites (75 miles). The intermediate-plus group went south via the coach road to Caddonfoot, via Elibank to Innerleithen, and also returned over the Granites (71 miles).
Wednesday 26th – mid-week intermediate ride to Whitekirk Hill via Aberlady and East Fortune, back through Tyninghame and Haddington (47 miles).
Saturday 29th – gravel ride round the Pentlands, past Thriepmuir and Glencorse reservoirs and the Mavisbank estate (36 miles).
Sunday 30th – The intermediate group rode along the coast to Aberlady, then via East Linton to Gifford, back through the Saltouns (54 miles). The intermediate-plus group climbed up onto the Lammermuirs from Garvald, down the Rig to Gifford and direct back (51 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus ride went over the Forth Bridge and up to Dollar, back by Crook of Devon and the Cleish hills (82 miles).
July 2024
Wednesday 3rd – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie via Pencaitland, back by Samuelston (43 miles).
Sunday 7th – A big turnout, with several new (and returning) faces. The intermediate group rode along the coast to Aberlady, round to Tyninghame for coffee, back by Biel, Morham and Gladsmuir (57 miles); the taster ride was a shorter version, with a cafe stop at Merryhatton (40 miles). The intermediate-plus ride went over the moor to West Linton, over the Meldons to the Scots Pine, back by Gladhouse (62 miles). The fitness ride (with one fitness-plus rider tagging along) went out through Currie, Kirknewton and Linlithgow, over the Kincardine Bridge, coffee at Culross, back over the Forth Bridge (76 miles).


Wednesday 10th – mid-week intermediate ride along the coast, then inland to Boggs Holdings and Dalkeith and a fund-raising coffee stop in Leith (35 miles).
Saturday 13th – gravel ride in East Lothian taking in the River Esk path, Saltoun Big Wood and Pencaitland (33 miles).
Sunday 14th – The intermediate did a skinny loop to Dunbar (56 miles), while the intermediate-plus group rode via Pencaitland and Humbie to Heriot, back over the Granites (56 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus group rode to Dawyck via West Linton and Broughton, back over the Meldons and Carrington (74 miles).
Wednesday 17th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Samuelston, back by the Saltouns (43 miles).
Sunday 21st – The fitness group rode to Carnwath via the Lang Whang, back by the moor road (72 miles). The intermediate group went to Tyninghame via Aberlady and North Berwick, back by Biel and Morham (54 miles). The intermediate-plus riders went up the Granites, then via Heriot to Soutra, back through East Saltoun, with some doing an extension to Gifford and Papple (52/70 miles). The fitness-plus ride followed the same route, extending to East Linton (71 miles).
Wednesday 24th – mid-week intermediate ride to Rosewell via Roslin Glen and Mount Lothian, back by Dalkeith (34 miles).
Saturday 27th – gravel ride in East Lothian, taking in Dalkeith country park, Vogue country park, Cranston and Carberry (32 miles).
Sunday 28th – the fitness group did a big East Lothian loop, taking in Edgehead, Fala, Pitcox, Biel, the Bostock bakery, Hailes castle and the Saltouns – and a visit to the Ormiston great yew-tree (69 miles). Fitness-plus riders went south to Stow, looped round to the A7, along to Innerleithen and back over the Granites (75 miles). The intermediates looped through Temple, Middleton and Fala to Humbie, then on by Samuelston and Gladsmuir to the coast road (49 miles). Inters-plus did a similar route – through Penicuik, coffee stop in Pencaitland, back through Haddington (58 miles).

Wednesday 31st – a big group rode in sunshine to East Linton via the Saltouns and Haddington, returning through Athelstaneford and Prestonpans (44 miles).
August 2024
Sunday 4th – the intermediate group went via Humbie to Gifford, back by Samuelston (48 miles), while the intermediate-plus riders went over the Granites to Innerleithen, along the tweed by Elibank and back by the coach road (68 miles). A combined fitness and fitness-plus group went to Melrose via Lauder and Earlston, back by Stow and the coach road (75 miles).

Wednesday 7th – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie via Samuelston, back through the Saltouns (35 miles).
Saturday 10th – the gravel riders car-shared to Aberfoyle then did a loop around Loch Ard, Loch Chon, Loch Katrine and Loch Achy, taking in a cafe stop at Stronachlachan and the Duke’s Pass (38 miles).

Sunday 11th – The intermediate group went via Temple and Gladhouse to Humbie, back by Peaston Bank (50 miles). The intermediate-plus group looped by Aberlady and East Linton to Haddington, back through Gifford and Humbie (60 miles). The fitness group went up the Rig, via Longformacus to Abbey St Bathans, back by Cranshaws, Garvald and Samuelston (75 miles). The fitness-plus ride was also up the Rig then via Crystal Rig to Dunbar and back by Stenton and Gifford (75 miles).
Wednesday 14th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gorebridge: out through Mayfield, back by Dewartown and Carberry (27 miles).
Sunday 18th – the intermediate group went to Whitmuir via Temple, back by Macbiehill and the moor road (53 miles). The intermediate-plus group rode to House of Soutra via Humbie, back by the Granites (51 miles). The fitness ride and fitness-plus rides both went to Biggar: fitness via the moor road and Elsrickle, back by Dreva and the Meldons; F+ via Leadburn and Skirling, back by the Lang Whang (75/73 miles)
Wednesday 21st – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford (39 miles).
Saturday 24th – gravel ride to South Queensferry, over the bridge to Inverkeithing and back by Ratho and the canal.
Sunday 25th – the fitness group rode via Fala and Gilston to Stow, over the moor to Lauder, back by Carfraemill and Humbie (63 miles). The inters rode direct to East Linton, then via Haddington to Gifford, back through the Saltouns and Ormiston (48 miles). The inters-plus group went to Dunbar via Morham and Pitcox, back by North Berwick and Aberlady (63 miles). The fitness-plus group did an epic challenge ride to Wanlockhead via Leadburn and Biggar, up Lowther Hill, then back via Moffat and the Meldons (139 miles).
Wednesday 28th – mid-week intermediate ride through Ormiston and West Saltoun to Haddington, back by the railway crossing (38 miles).
September 2024
Sunday 1st – The intermediate ride went along the coast then inland to Smeaton, back via Morham and Gladsmuir (55 miles); a shorter taster ride peeled off at Longniddry and returned by Fa’side (22 miles). The intermediate-plus and fitness groups did longer challenge rides. Inters-plus went over the Rig and via Duns to the Chain Bridge, back through Abbey St Bathans, Cockburnpath and West Barns (107 miles). Fitness (with some F+ riders joining in) went over the Forth road bridge and up to Dollar, then a loop north to Auchterarder and Dunning, back from Yetts O’Muckhart via the Cleish hills to the bridge again (108 miles); a few peeled off after Dollar for a shorter version (78 miles).
Wednesday 4th – mid-week intermediate ride via Tranent and Haddington to Tyninghame, then direct back (44 miles).
Saturday 7th – gravel ride through the Pentlands then round by Carlops and Eddlestone (60 miles).
Sunday 8th – on a misty day, the intermediate group did a challenge ride: direct to Dunbar, then via Oldhamstocks to Abbey St Bathans and Duns, back over Redstone Rig (86 miles). The intermediate-plus group rode via Gifford and the Biel estate to Tyninghame, back by North Berwick and Aberlady (56 miles). The fitness group did a West Lothian loop taking in Balerno, West Calder, Bathgate, Bo’ness and Dalmeny (70 miles). The fitness-plus riders went via Humbie and Greenknowe to Earlston, back by Stow and the coach road (77 miles).

The fitness-plus ride was similar: to Peebles via Carrington, the Meldons and Cademuir, coffee at Kailzie and back over the Granites and Heriot (79 miles).
Wednesday 18th – mid-week intermediate ride to Tyninghame via Haddington, back through the Biel estate and Bolton (52 miles).

The intermediates did the classic Soutra and Granites loop with a cafe stop at Heriot (51 miles), while the intermediate-plus group went via Roslin and Carrington to Rosearista, back by Haddington and Gladsmuir (58 miles).
Wednesday 25th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via the Saltouns (42 miles).
Sunday 29th – the intermediate group rode via Haddington to Gifford, back through Pencaitland (52 miles). The intermediate-plus group did a triangular route: south to Gladhouse, east to House of Soutra, north-west home (48 miles). A large fitness group rode round by Bolton and Humbie to the Gilston road, then to Heriot for coffee, back over the Granites (65 miles). A small fitness-plus group went to Melrose via Lauder and Earlston, back by Stow and the coach road (75 miles).

October 2024
Wednesday 2nd – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie via Tynehead, back through Haddington and Prestonpans (45 miles).

The fitness-plus group rode via Gavald, Spott and Innerwick to Dunbar, back through Athelstanedford (73 miles).

Sunday 20th – storm warnings dissuaded many, but two riders braved the weather and rode via Currie and Ratho to Linlithgow, back by Philpston and Queensferry (53 miles).
Wednesday 23rd – mid-week intermediate ride in a skinny loop to Rosewell via Dalkeith (29 miles).
Sunday 27th – the intermediate group rode round the coast to Tyninghame then back inland by the Biel estate and Samuelston (52 miles). The intermediate-plus riders went through Gifford to East Linton (Smeaton nursery), back by Hailes and Samuelston (57 miles). The fitness group went to Dawyck over the Meldons, back by Rommanobridge and West Linton (67 miles). The fitness-plus ride went to Earlston via Carfraemill and Gordon, back by Stow and Crichton (76 miles).
Wednesday 30th – mid-week intermediate ride through Haddington to Gifford, back by Tranent (44 miles).

Saturday 2nd – gravel ride through Dalkeith and Auchendinny to the Pentlands, back through the Hermitage of Braid (29 miles).
Sunday 3rd – The intermediate and intermediate-plus groups both did the classic Granites and Soutra loop, back through Humbie (48 miles); the taster ride went via the Saltouns to Humbie, direct back (32 miles). The fitness-plus group rode over the Meldons and via Cademuir to Innerleithen, back over the Granites (81 miles). The fitness group rode direct to Garvald then via Whiteadder and Crystal Rig to West Barns, back by Aberlady (69 miles).
Wednesday 6th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Pencaitland, back through Haddington (43 miles).
Sunday 10th – the intermediate group rode through Pencaitland and Morham to East Linton, back by Athelstaneford and the level crossing (53 miles). The intermediate-plus went to Whitmuir via West Linton, back by Gorebridge and Dalkeith (53 miles). The fitness group, with some fitness-plus hangers on, went through West Linton and Dunsyre to Elsrickle, back by Blyth Bridge and Leadburn (70 miles).

Wednesday 13th – mid-week intermediate ride to Humbie via Gladsmuir and East Saltoun, back by Carberry (35 miles).
Saturday 16th – gravel ride through Dalkeith country park and Pathhead to Rosearista, back by the railway path (32 miles).
Sunday 17th – on a cold day, the intermediate group rode via Temple to Humbie, back by Gladsmuir (51 miles). The intermediate-plus riders went along the coast to North Berwick then via Haddington to Gifford and direct back (50 miles). The fitness group went round the Pentlands via Ratho and Auchengray, back by Dunsyre and W Linton (70 miles). The fitness-plus ride was over the bridge and up to Dollar, back by Crook of Devon and the Cleish hills (80 miles).

Wednesday 20th – mid-week intermediate ride along the coast, inland to Gifford, and direct back (37 miles).
Sunday 24th – the intermediate group did a clockwise East Lothian loop to Smeaton, back by Morham and Gladsmuir (51 miles). The intermediate-plus group went to Dunbar, back by Stenton and Gifford. The fitness group took a roundabout route to Tyninghame via Morham and Nungate, back by Whitekirk and Aberlady (67 miles). The fitness-plus ride went to Dawyck via West Linton and Skirling, back by the Meldons and Carrington (73 miles).
Wednesday 27th – mid-week intermediate ride via Edgehead and Crichton to Humbie, direct back (35 miles).

Sunday 1st – the intermediate group did a loop round by Humbie and Fala (39 miles), while both the intermediate-plus and fitness groups went via Penicuik and Lamancha to Whitmuir, back by Gladhouse and Dalkeith (50/51 miles). The fitness-plus ride was up the Granites, via Heriot and Gilston to Soutra, back by Pencaitland (51 miles).

Wednesday 4th – mid-week intermediate ride to Tyninghame via Aberlady, back by Haddington (45 miles).
Sunday 8th – in a cold north wind, all four groups did East Lothian loops: the intermediates to Haddington and Gifford (38 miles), the intermediate-plus group to East Linton and the Saltouns with a coffee stop in Musselburgh (46 miles), the fitness group to Tyninghame via West Barns, back by Athelstaneford (54 miles), and fitness-plus a similar route but through Gifford on the way out (56 miles).
Wednesday 11th – mid-week intermediate ride in the cold to Longniddry, Elphinstone and cafe in Musselburgh (25 miles).

Saturday 14th – gravel ride to South Queensferry via Cramond and the Dalmeny estate, back by Kirkliston (41 miles).
Sunday 15th – on a mild, windy day, the intermediate group went to Rosewell via Newlandrig and Carrington, direct back through Dalkeith (32 miles). The intermediate-plus ride was round by Tynehead, Heriot and the Granites to Newtongrange, back through Dalkeith (42 miles). The fitness (and F+) group went to Linlithgow via Currie and Faucheldean, back by Philpston and the Dalmeny estate (51 miles).
Wednesday 18th – mid-week intermediate ride to Gifford via Samuelston, back through East Saltoun (37 miles).
Sunday 22nd – The intermediate ride was to Gifford via Haddington, back through the Saltouns (39 miles). The intermediate-plus ride went to Whitmuir by the moor road, back through Dalkeith (50 miles). A combined fitness/F+ ride also went to Whitmuir via Carlops, back by Carrington and Dalkeith (53 miles).
Thursday 26th – Boxing Day special ride to Gifford via Bolton, some back by West Morham and Gladsmuir, others more direct back (41/35 miles).

Sunday 29th – smaller turnout, so just two groups: an intermediate/inters-plus group that rode to Humbie via Ormiston and Fala, back by the Saltouns (38 miles); and a fitness/fitness-plus ride to House of Soutra via the Granites and Heriot, back by Fala (48 miles).
